[ Caleb's place is surprisingly tidy, especially considering two young men live there. It's all the default furniture, though, other than a football and a few scattered magazines, Caleb hasn't really bothered making the place his.
Caleb sets out some chips and glasses and soda and waits for Jeff. He wouldn't call himself well practiced at this kind of thing yet, but honestly, if he didn't fuck up with Jon, he probably won't fuck up with anyone more normal. ]
[ Jeff's main impression of the Dominant high rise is that it's... like a very nice hotel. Like it's swanky, and it's comfortable, and everything's clean and nice and in working order... but it's also totally impersonal, and there's no way the building staff won't narc on a LIER the first chance they get.
Honestly, for all its squalor, he feels more at ease in the Down, away from SIN Guards and surveillance, and all the expectations of proper submissive behavior.
So Jeff's already a little tense, nerves buzzing just below the surface as he knocks on Caleb's door. But he tries to mask it with a cheerful grin when he greets the guy, in spite of the whole reason he's here in the first place. ]
[ Caleb's one of those jocky guys who seems extremely chill. Not stoner chill, but people tend to get the impression he's confident and has his shit together. Which isn't wrong, generally, it's just harder to keep his shit together in Duplicity. ]
Hey, come in.
[ He motions Jeff in before closing the door. ]
I'm Caleb Michaels, it's nice to meet you.
[ He makes a point not to lock the front door, tense people tend to like an easy way out and he's not here to make Jeff feel trapped. The city does that well enough without help. ]
Here is good :B
